The MOHJO Awards Party is held annually to recognize the hard work and accomplishments by our members over the last show season.
Due to the lingering impacts of the pandemic, there will not be a 2020 Awards party. However, year end ribbons and prizes will be available for pick-up at the National Equestrian Center, during the Irish Fox Stables show on February 6, 2021. We will also have an area set aside for pictures.

In addition to the major divisions that align with USHJA divisions, MOHJO recognizes these specialty divisions:
The MOHJO Hunter Derby is offered in 3 heights (3’5”, 3’, 2’6”) and follows the USHJA Hunter Derby format with a classic round for all participants and a handy round for the top qualifiers from the class.
The MOHJO Mini Derby is a 2’ derby for horses/ponies and riders who compete in the 2’ divisions.
The MOHJO Jumper Classic, for horses and riders who compete in the Jumper Divisions; offered at .85m and .95m (2’9” and 3’).
New In 2021
An Intermediate Equitation class, with fences at 2’ 3” has been added to list of divisions recognized for Year End Points.
The MOHJO Medal is now the MOHJO Tack Trunk Child/Adult Medal, and in addition to the existing over fences and required flat phase, will now include a test for the top four scoring riders.
The USHJA Tack Trunk Mini Medal class is now the USHJA Pony Medal, done in accordance with USHJA guidelines.
The mileage rule has been refined to reflect application to local, non-rated shows. This allows for MOHJO recognition, and more points opportunities for members, at the rated shows in Florida in particular.
More details on each of these classes, as well as details on all the class specifications MOHJO offers can be found in the MOHJO Rule Book.
The 2021 Awards Party will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Pezold Banquet Center in Cottleville, MO.
